Why does it say nothing is nearby?

The difference between "nothing recorded" and "we could not check".

BEST distinguishes carefully between two situations. "Nothing recorded" means every source answered and found nothing within the radius. "Could not be checked" means a source failed, and the honest answer is that we do not know.

Some categories are thinly mapped nationally — restaurants especially. A quiet result may reflect the register rather than the village.
